About The Position

This position functions as the statewide recognized resource for policy, website development/maintenance and training development/execution for psychotropic medication use and oversight for children in foster care. This position participates on a team of individuals from the Permanency and Wellbeing unit, Foster Care – Psychotropic Medication Oversight unit (FC-PMOU), pharmacy services, and with the CSA medical consultant to determine policy for foster care and training needs for a wide variety of stakeholders and partners engaged in providing treatment services for children in foster care. The goal of these efforts is to improve the health and mental health care and coordination of care for children served by MDHHS.

Requirements

  • Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.
  • Three years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the experienced (P11) level in state service.
  • Relevant experience and/or education referred to in supplemental questions must be documented in resume, transcript and/or application.
  • Attach a resume identifying specific experience and dates of employment (month and year, hours per week).
  • Attach a cover letter.
  • Attach a copy of official transcript(s) (scanned copies accepted; web-based, internet, or unofficial transcripts are not accepted). Official transcripts must include the institution name, degree awarded date, and registrar's signature.
  • Successful completion of a background investigation and a criminal records check.
