About The Position

The Procurement Department Specialist will complete a variety of specialized duties that support functional operations. The duties in the department specialist job family focus on tasks and/or work that are unique to be department. The incumbent will require knowledge and skills that are beyond what are required for general office work.

Requirements

  • 4-year degree preferred in Business, Marketing or related field or relevant experience of marketing, accounting and financial management practices preferred.
  • Customer Service and/or retail experience a plus
  • Reading, writing, math and communication skills at a proficient level, verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  • Ability to follow verbal and/or written instruction.
  • Working knowledge of procurement, logistics and inventory management practices a plus.
  • Ability to concentrate and deal with frequent interruptions

Responsibilities

  • Run daily Out of Stock Reports each Morning.
  • Rekey mark outs from the night before, as directed.
  • Upload all advertisement distributions.
  • Upload all product distributions.
  • Monitoring Deliveries and following up on any discrepancies.
  • Entering forecast information.
  • Respond to any customer service inquiries.
