About The Position

This role involves assisting with the unloading of incoming trucks and stocking merchandise. The Department Head will execute daily operational goals and priorities set by the store manager, ensuring efficient store operations. Key responsibilities include removing promotional bin tags, restocking merchandise displays, managing end caps and side wings, and handling special orders for non-stock items. A strong emphasis is placed on providing excellent customer service, never telling a customer 'no' without consulting a manager, and being vigilant about shoplifters in accordance with company policy. The role also requires responding to radio requests and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months-1 year of retail experience.
• Technically proficient in computer systems including related software.
• Gather and analyze data and maintain accurate records.
• Take initiative, assume responsibility, and execute thoroughly.
• Interact with staff at all levels of the organization.
• Possess a valid driver license with an acceptable driving record in accordance with company’s insurance carrier’s standards.

Nice To Haves

• High School diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish) verbal and written communication skills strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload incoming trucks and put away merchandise.
• Execute daily operational, day-to-day goals/priorities assigned by store manager.
• Remove promotional bin tags from displays/price tags as required.
• Restock merchandise displays as needed.
• Watch end caps and side wings.
• Handle special orders for all non-stock items.
