Department Head
About The Position
This role involves assisting with the unloading of incoming trucks and putting away merchandise. The Department Head will execute daily operational goals and priorities assigned by the store manager, ensuring efficient store operations. Key responsibilities include removing promotional bin tags, restocking merchandise displays, managing end caps and side wings, and handling special orders for non-stock items. A strong emphasis is placed on providing excellent customer service, never telling a customer 'no' without consulting a manager, and being vigilant about shoplifting prevention. The role also requires responding to radio requests and performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months-1 year of retail experience.
- Technically proficient in computer systems including related software.
- Gather and analyze data and maintain accurate records.
- Take initiative, assume responsibility, and execute thoroughly.
- Interact with staff at all levels of the organization.
- Possess a valid driver license with an acceptable driving record in accordance with company’s insurance carrier’s standards.
Nice To Haves
- High School diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish) verbal and written communication skills strongly preferred.
Responsibilities

- Respond to radio requests.
- Other duties as assigned.
