About The Position

This role involves assisting with the unloading of incoming trucks and putting away merchandise. The Department Head will execute daily operational goals and priorities assigned by the store manager, ensuring efficient store operations. Key responsibilities include removing promotional bin tags, restocking merchandise displays, monitoring end caps and side wings, and handling special orders for non-stock items. A strong emphasis is placed on providing excellent customer service, never telling a customer 'no' without consulting a manager, and actively discouraging shoplifting through positive customer interaction and adherence to company policy. The role also requires responding to radio requests and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months-1 year of retail experience.
• Technically proficient in computer systems including related software.
• Ability to gather and analyze data and maintain accurate records.
• Ability to take initiative, assume responsibility, and execute thoroughly.
• Ability to interact with staff at all levels of the organization.
• Possess a valid driver license with an acceptable driving record in accordance with company’s insurance carrier’s standards.

• Bilingual (Spanish) verbal and written communication skills strongly preferred.
