About The Position

The Department Assistant supports assigned store departments and reports to the assistant store manager or immediate supervisor. The role helps process donated merchandise, prepare and display items for sale, maintain the production area and sales floor, and perform duties across departments as needed. The position is part-time and based in Loveland, Colorado, with an evening shift.

Ability to speak, hear, stand, and move throughout the store.
Ability to frequently lift or move up to 20 pounds and push or pull clothing racks weighing up to 15 pounds.
Ability to use a hand stapler to attach price tags to garments.
Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and walk constantly, and lift arms to shoulder height or above.

Responsibilities

Sort and package donations and occasionally price merchandise for assigned departments.
Display merchandise in designated sales-floor areas.
Perform duties for various departments when the Pricer is absent.
Keep the production department clean and materials stocked.
Clean the personal work area daily, removing dust and damaged goods.
Keep the sales floor shoppable by ragging, balancing, and rotating seasonal merchandise.
Complete other duties and special assignments as directed, including assignments outside the primary area of employment.
