About The Position

Key Responsibilities Machine Operation Operate depalletizer equipment efficiently to maintain steady product flow to fillers or label lines. Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain quality and productivity. Clear jams or blockages and troubleshoot basic mechanical issues to minimize downtime. Product Quality & Inspection Verify incoming cans or materials meet quality standards and match the required product order. Remove dented, damaged, or otherwise defective containers before they move to the next stage. Perform sensory or visual checks as required by production standards. Material Handling Receive, store, and rotate materials following FIFO (First-In, First-Out) procedures. Unload pallets from delivery trucks using a forklift and return used pallets or dunnage to designated areas. Maintenance & Safety Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of depalletizer equipment. Follow all plant safety and quality rules; report unsafe conditions immediately. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Documentation & Reporting Maintain accurate production records, downtime logs, and material usage reports. Use systems to track product and complete required transactions. Teamwork & Communication Work closely with production teams to meet daily production goals. Communicate operational issues promptly to supervisors to prevent delays or quality issues.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior experience in depalletizer operations or a manufacturing environment is helpful but not always required.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform minor troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and stand for long periods.
  • Basic computer literacy for equipment operation and recordkeeping (e.g., SAP or similar).
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift (certification may be required).
