About The Position

Family Health Care is seeking a Dentist to provide dental care to patients without the worries of managing a practice. The organization handles the business side, allowing the dentist to practice to the best of their ability alongside experienced care teams. Facilities are equipped with up-to-date equipment, knowledgeable staff, and a vast support system. As a Community Health Center, Family Health Care provides access to medical providers, behavioral health specialists, pharmacists, and more, in addition to dental care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of dentistry
• State of Michigan Dentist License
• State of Michigan Controlled Substance License
• Federal DEA License

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and provide appropriate treatment to patients
• Educate patients on their treatment plan and how to maintain oral health
• Prescribe medications as needed
• Document all patient care in the electronic health record
• Communicate with other staff on patient care needs
