About The Position

Eastern Iowa Health Center (EIHC), a Federally Qualified Health Center, is seeking a Dentist dedicated to serving the needs of the community. EIHC provides accessible health care and promotes health equity, compassionate care, and equal treatment for all members of its diverse community. The Dentist works in a collaborative environment and provides routine, preventive, restorative, and emergency dental care. The position is full-time or temporary. Compensation ranges from $140,608 to $243,360, with packages based on previous work experience, education, certification, and other relevant factors. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Friday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Requirements

• DDS or DMD degree from an American Dental Association-accredited dental school.
• Current license or eligibility for licensure in the State of Iowa.
• Current DEA and CSA.
• Basic Life Support.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine and preventive examinations and screenings.
• Perform routine extractions and fillings.
• Provide emergency services.
• Collaborate with other dental professionals to provide additional preventive and restorative dental services.
• Enter patient information and complete required clinical documentation in the Dentrix EDR system.
