About The Position

360care is seeking a General Dentist to provide dental care to residents of skilled nursing and long-term care facilities, with a focus on geriatric and underserved communities. The role is offered as a 1099 independent contractor position with flexible scheduling; the dentist chooses available workdays, and visits are scheduled without evenings or weekends. The dentist makes clinical decisions and provides care, while 360care supplies administrative, logistical, equipment, and coordination support.

The dentist provides comprehensive preventive dentistry, removable prosthodontic care, and oral surgery; documents procedures and treatment in the company’s EMR; follows established standards, protocols, and practices; and supervises dental assistants and hygienists as part of the care team. 360care provides a trained dental assistant, portable dental equipment and supplies, scheduling and billing, care coordination for consents and pre-authorizations, patient scheduling, post-operative and IT support, and field support and mentorship from a Clinical Director.

Requirements

• Be a Dentist with a DDS or DMD degree in good standing.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to connect with geriatric patients with empathy and compassion.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Travel to skilled nursing and long-term care facilities.
• Provide comprehensive dental care, including preventive dentistry, removable prosthodontics, and oral surgery.
• Document procedures and treatment using the EMR system.
• Follow established standards, protocols, and practices.
• Supervise the Dental Assistant and Dental Hygienist, working as a team.
