About The Position
MHM Solutions, a Centurion company, provides healthcare staffing solutions to state agencies within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The Dentist will work at State Correctional Institution-Smithfield in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, providing comprehensive professional dental treatment to address the oral health needs of incarcerated patients. The role is scheduled for 37.5 hours per week, though part-time candidates may be considered. It is an independent contractor position with newly increased, guaranteed compensation.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from a school approved or recognized by the Pennsylvania State Board of Dentistry.
- Successful completion of an approved U.S. residency training program in Dental Medicine, with emphasis on preventive and corrective dentistry and hygiene.
- Current unrestricted license to practice dentistry in Pennsylvania, issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Dentistry.
- Current unrestricted certificate to prescribe medication from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency.
Responsibilities
- Provide routine recall examinations.
- Perform simple extractions and restorations.
- Provide prosthetic services and prophylaxis.
- Provide fluoride treatments and endodontic treatments.
