About The Position

360care is seeking a General Dentist to provide dental care to residents of skilled nursing and long-term care facilities, with a focus on geriatric and underserved communities. The role is structured as a 1099 independent contractor position, with flexible scheduling based on the dentist’s availability and no evening or weekend work. The dentist makes clinical decisions and focuses on patient care, while 360care provides logistics, equipment, administrative, and field support.

The dentist provides comprehensive care, including preventive dentistry, removable prosthodontics, and oral surgery; documents procedures and treatment in the EMR; follows established standards and protocols; and supervises dental assistants and hygienists as part of the care team. 360care supplies a trained dental assistant, portable equipment and instruments, scheduling and billing, care coordination, and mentorship from a Clinical Director.

Requirements

• Be a Dentist with a DDS or DMD in good standing.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to connect with geriatric patients with empathy and compassion.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Travel to skilled nursing and long-term care facilities.
• Provide comprehensive dental care in preventive dentistry, removable prosthodontics, and oral surgery.
• Document procedures and treatment using the EMR system.
• Follow established standards, protocols, and practices.
• Supervise the Dental Assistant and Dental Hygienist, working as a team.
