About The Position

Northland Health Centers is hiring an onsite Dentist to expand access to quality oral healthcare as part of a mission-driven organization. The Dentist provides comprehensive dental care, including examinations, consultations, clinical procedures, preventive services, and patient education. The role offers opportunities to develop patient-centered treatment skills and clinical decision-making while serving a diverse patient population and making an impact in the communities served.

The Dentist works alongside a collaborative dental team to maintain an efficient schedule, document patient care accurately, and coordinate follow-up treatment. The regular onsite schedule is Monday 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, Tuesday through Thursday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, and Friday 8:00 AM–3:30 PM.

An accepted offer is conditional on completing a drug screen and pre-employment background screening. Northland Health Centers has a Drug-Free Workplace Policy.

Requirements

• DDS or DMD.
• Licensed to practice in the State of North Dakota.
• DEA registration.
• Strong clinical judgment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Successful completion of a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose oral conditions and create treatment plans.
• Restore and preserve teeth and gums.
• Provide preventive dental services and patient education.
• Fit dental appliances when needed.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Conduct comprehensive exams, patient consultations, and clinical procedures.
• Help maintain an efficient schedule with the dental team.
• Coordinate follow-up treatment.
• Help patients feel informed and comfortable with their treatment.
