About The Position
The Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribal Health Center in Flandreau, South Dakota, is seeking a full-time Dentist to join its dental team, which includes one Dentist, three Dental Assistants, and two Hygienists. The 2017 Tribal Health Center provides a full medical-home model with urgent care, imaging and an onsite CT, pharmacy, laboratory, case management, optical, dental, and behavioral health services, supported by an experienced clinical team. The role offers an opportunity to serve and improve the health status of the Native American community using quality resources. This is an employed position with the Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe. The Dentist provides general dentistry, including preventive and restorative care, and builds continuity of care and long-lasting relationships with IHS-eligible patients and their families in the community. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with no weekends and no call. One onsite laboratory is available.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS).
- Team-oriented approach.
