About The Position

Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring a Dentist in Carrizozo, New Mexico. This is a general dentistry role within a mission-driven healthcare system serving underserved communities. The position offers a four-day work week designed to support provider balance and lifestyle flexibility. The established outpatient dental practice is supported by hygienists, dental techs, and a Dental Director. This role provides an opportunity to practice broad-scope dentistry in a collaborative rural healthcare environment, located in a scenic high desert area near the Sacramento Mountains with access to outdoor recreation.

Requirements

• DDS or DMD from accredited dental school REQUIRED
• Clear and active New Mexico dental license or ability to obtain REQUIRED
• DEA license and current CPR certification REQUIRED
• Strong communication and collaboration skills REQUIRED
• Commitment to serving underserved patient populations REQUIRED
• Comfortable practicing broad-scope general dentistry REQUIRED
• New graduates welcome

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive general dentistry services primarily for adult patients
• Diagnose and treat oral diseases, injuries, and dental conditions
• Perform cleanings, extractions, crowns, root canals, and general procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records within EMR system
• Collaborate with local medical center for surgical and complex dental cases
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical meetings
• Foster team-oriented and patient-centered care environment
