About The Position
The Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribal Health Center in Flandreau, South Dakota, is seeking a full-time Dentist to join its dental team, which includes one other dentist, three dental assistants, and two hygienists. The center, built in 2017, provides a full medical home model with urgent care, imaging and onsite CT, pharmacy, laboratory, case management, optical, dental, and behavioral health services. This employed position with the Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe offers an opportunity to serve and improve the health of the Native American community. The dentist will provide general dentistry, including preventive and restorative care, and build ongoing relationships with IHS-eligible patients and their families. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with no weekends and no call.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS).
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide general dentistry, including preventive and restorative care.
- Build long-lasting relationships with IHS-eligible patients and their families.
- Serve and help improve the health status of the Native American community as part of an experienced, team-oriented dental and clinical team.
