About The Position
An established, multi-doctor pediatric dental practice in Columbia (Bush River), South Carolina, is seeking a Pediatric Dentist or an experienced General Dentist with a strong background in treating children. The practice has a 100% pediatric patient base, serving patients under age 18, and offers a supportive, team-oriented environment. Providers deliver routine preventive care, composite restorations, stainless steel crowns, pulpotomies, and limited extractions; complex procedures are referred to specialists. The practice uses modern technology, including digital X-rays, Panorex, and NOMAD.
Requirements
- Pediatric Dentist or General Dentist with significant experience treating children.
- DDS or DMD degree.
- South Carolina dental license or eligibility for one.
- Patient and compassionate approach to treating children.
- Comfort working with children and families, including those with special healthcare needs.
- Value teamwork and exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide routine preventive dental care to pediatric patients.
- Perform composite restorations, stainless steel crowns, pulpotomies, and limited extractions.
- Refer complex procedures to specialists.
- Provide compassionate care to children and families, including patients with special healthcare needs and anxious children.
