About The Position

Progressive Community Health Centers is hiring a full-time Dentist in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Dentist provides and ensures preventive and restorative dental care consistent with accepted professional standards.

Progressive Community Health Centers is an independent nonprofit founded in 1999. It operates four clinic locations in Milwaukee and has more than 100 employees. The organization provides culturally competent, comprehensive care to approximately 16,000 patients annually, many of whom are low-income. Its services include family medicine, internal medicine, women's health, urgent care, dental care, radiology, integrated behavioral health, case management, health education, and benefits enrollment. The organization does not turn patients away based on insurance status or ability to pay.

All employees, employed providers, and volunteers are required to be vaccinated. Hired candidates must submit proof of vaccination before orientation. The stated purpose of the requirement is to minimize workplace exposure to and transmission of influenza and help prevent exposure to the community.

Requirements

• DDS degree from an accredited college or university.
• Licensed to practice dentistry in Wisconsin.
• DEA registration.
• Submit proof of vaccination before orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive dental care consistent with accepted professional standards.
• Provide restorative dental care consistent with accepted professional standards.
• Ensure the provision of preventive and restorative dental care consistent with accepted professional standards.
