About The Position

The Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribal Health Center in Flandreau, South Dakota, is seeking a full-time Dentist to join its dental team, which includes one Dentist, three Dental Assistants, and two Hygienists. The Tribal Health Center was built in 2017 and provides a full medical-home model with services including urgent care, imaging and onsite CT, pharmacy, laboratory, case management, optical, dental, and behavioral health. The role offers an opportunity to serve and improve the health status of the Native American community as part of an experienced clinical team with quality resources.

This is an employed position with the Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe. The Dentist provides general dentistry, including preventative and restorative care, and builds continuity of care through long-lasting relationships with IHS-eligible patients and their families. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; there are no weekends and no call.

Requirements

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS).
• Team-oriented.

Responsibilities
