Requirements
- Graduation from an approved school of dentistry. Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
- Possess a license to practice dentistry issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Dentistry.
- Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
- Must be able to perform essential job functions.
- Must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.

Responsibilities
- Perform dental exams, diagnose oral diseases, and assess injuries for appropriate treatment
- Provide basic dental care and carry out necessary clinical procedures for inmates
- Support visiting specialists by assisting with on-site treatment and related tasks
- Ensure security, tool control, and proper handling of toxic and caustic materials within the dental office
- Consult with and refer patients to physicians, oral surgeons, or other health care professionals
- Follow institutional procedures to maintain an organized and secure clinical environment
