About The Position

Family Health Care is seeking a full-time dentist to join our Community Health Center (FQHC) rural clinic in White Cloud, Michigan. Why Family Health Care: Salaried position with additional productivity bonuses available Retention bonuses paid quarterly 4-or 5-day work week No weekend work requirements No on-call schedule Generous benefits package (medical/dental/vision/disability insurance, 401K matching, up to 5 weeks PTO) Licensing fees and malpractice coverage paid for by the employer CE stipend and paid time off Student loan forgiveness Eligible for up to $200,000 in tax-free loan repayment over a period of up to eight years through NHSC Eligible for up to $300,000 in tax-free loan repayment over a period of up to ten years through MSLRP Eligible for complete loan forgiveness through PSLF after 10 years of employment with FHC 1-2 dental assistants per dentist Patients are assigned to individual dentists to allow for continuity of care Other dentist(s) in the office to allow for treatment collaboration and mentorship Wide variety of procedures completed in-office (composites, amalgams, dentures, partials, extractions, crown and bridge, endo, etc.) Medical clinic, behavioral health and pharmacy on site, including clinical pharmacist Duties include, but are not limited to: Examine, diagnose, and treat diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth and gums; treat diseases of nerve, pulp, and other dental tissues affecting oral hygiene and retention of teeth; fit dental appliances or provide preventive care to dental clinic patients; maintain dental records; review and notify patients of diagnostic test and consultation results; and respond to patient care tasks and phone calls consistent with good dental practice.

Requirements

  • State of Michigan Dentist License
  • US Doctor of Dental Medicine degree

Responsibilities
