More Smiles Dental Spa in Covington, Louisiana, is seeking a patient-focused General Dentist (DDS/DMD) to join their thriving practice. This role offers flexibility with schedules of 2-4 days per week, strong patient demand, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact. Dentists committing to a full-time schedule of 4 days per week may be eligible for a retention bonus. The ideal candidate enjoys high-quality, everyday family dentistry, including exams, restorative care, crowns, preventive services, and straightforward extractions, while building long-term relationships. Dentists will have full autonomy to practice within their current skill set, with support and mentorship available for those interested in expanding into advanced services like cosmetic dentistry, implants, sleep apnea, and TMJ therapy. The practice operates with a private-practice mindset, supported by Star Dental Partners, emphasizing clinical judgment, patient relationships, administrative support without interference, and reasonable expectations to prevent burnout.
Requirements
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
- Active and unrestricted Louisiana dental license (or ability to obtain)
- BLS, DEA and any applicable certifications
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience
- Unable to offer visa sponsorship
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive general dentistry with full autonomy, including the option to perform advanced procedures.
- Deliver exceptional patient care and build strong patient relationships
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
- Lead and collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain accurate records and comply with safety protocols
- Diagnose and treat oral health conditions
