About The Position
Blue Sea Dental is preparing to establish an in-house dental laboratory and is seeking a Dental Lab Technician to help build and shape its laboratory services. The technician will create and repair dental restorations and prosthetics while working with advanced technology and digital dentistry workflows. The role emphasizes quality craftsmanship, precision, collaboration, and producing restorations that support patient outcomes. The technician will work with doctors and clinical teams, interpret prescriptions and case specifications, and complete cases accurately within established timelines. The position also supports digital workflows such as CAD/CAM design, milling, and 3D printing, and involves maintaining an organized workspace and properly caring for laboratory equipment.
Requirements
- Previous dental lab technician experience.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent hand skills.
- Knowledge of dental materials, anatomy, and laboratory procedures.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
- Experience fabricating crowns.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with digital dentistry and CAD/CAM technology.
- Experience with All-on-X cases.
- Experience with 3D printing PMMA restorations.
- Experience milling zirconia restorations.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate, finish, and repair dental restorations and prosthetics, including crowns, bridges, dentures, and implant-supported restorations.
- Perform model work, waxing, finishing, polishing, and necessary adjustments.
- Interpret dental prescriptions and case specifications provided by doctors.
- Ensure restorations meet standards for esthetics, fit, function, and quality.
- Collaborate with doctors and clinical teams to achieve patient outcomes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient laboratory workspace and properly care for equipment.
- Complete cases within established timelines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Support digital dentistry workflows, including CAD/CAM design, milling, and 3D printing processes.
