About The Position

Nuvia Dental is hiring an entry-level Bilingual Dental Lab Technician (Bars). The role includes 3–4 months of hands-on paid training at the company’s lab in Salt Lake City, Utah. Travel expenses for the training period—including flights, lodging, and transportation—will be covered. The employee will travel to the closest center for on-site training. This is an overnight position, with shifts typically starting between 10 p.m. and midnight, Monday through Friday. Shifts are 8.5 hours long. The technician is responsible for processing at least four bars per day and collaborating on other duties required by the lab. The position reports directly to the Center Manager. Starting pay is $20.00 per hour, increasing to $31.25 per hour after training.

Requirements

Fluency in Spanish.
Willingness to work overnight or during the day if needed.
Professional presentation and adherence to Nuvia’s dress code.
Ability to travel to the closest center for on-site training.

Responsibilities

Process at least four bars per day.
Collaborate on other duties required by the lab.
Understand and live the company’s values.
Arrive at work at the scheduled time; provide at least six hours’ advance notice if an issue arises that affects attendance.
Remain flexible as schedules may change based on office or lab needs.
Review the schedule and become familiar with assigned cases for the day.
Perform required quality control on records received from the Articulations and Cam Department, including models, bars, waxes, and zirconias.
Check all changes made by the design department on cases, as requested by the doctor in the prescription (RX).
Follow Nuvia’s dress code and maintain a professional presentation.
