About The Position

Nuvia Dental Implant Center is hiring an entry-level CAM Operator for an evening position. The role includes 2.5 months of hands-on paid training at the company’s lab in Hartford, Connecticut. The employee reports directly to the Center Manager and may need to travel to the closest center for on-site training. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with shifts starting between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. and lasting 8.5 hours. Starting pay is $20 per hour, increasing to $33.65 per hour after training. The position includes PTO within 30 days of employment and other listed benefits.

Requirements

Must be fluent in Spanish.
Must be willing to work overnight or during the day if needed.
Maintain a professional presentation and follow Nuvia’s dress code.
Travel to the closest center for on-site training.

Responsibilities

Nest next-day cases in MillBox.
Run a process simulation for every case and send pictures to the group chat.
Prioritize cases with the closest due dates.
Check the fit of every case when the machine is done and repeat the case if necessary.
Nest upcoming cases while machines are running.
Organize and clean the workstation every day.
Perform maintenance on department equipment.
Prepare the supplies order list once a month during the last week of the month.
Calibrate the machines every two weeks.
Check machine cooling, milling liquids, and machine air filters every day, ensuring there is no water in the filters.
Clean machine water trays once a week.
Deep-clean all machines and machine spindles once a month.
