Dental Lab Scheduling Coordinator (Entry-Level)
About The Position
National Dentex is a healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry, with 50 labs throughout the country. The Dental Lab Scheduling Coordinator will work at NDX Davis Dental Laboratory in Wyoming, Michigan. This is a full-time position with regular hours from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday; hours may change from time to time. The coordinator reads prescriptions and specifications from dentists, records and schedules work, and assists with opening, inspecting, and packaging cases. The role also involves answering telephone calls, responding to inquiries, and notifying customers of delivery times when necessary, as well as performing other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Experience with keyboard and Windows-based programs.
- Ability to regularly sit, stand, walk, and/or reach.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions.
- Ability to read and interpret prescriptions and other required documentation.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical information.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of tooth anatomy.
- Knowledge of billing procedures.
- Experience handling incoming calls.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentists.
