Desert Sun Endodontics is seeking a Dental Insurance Coordinator to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. This role requires someone who can work efficiently under pressure, manage a fast-paced schedule, and maintain strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of dental insurance, can appropriately prioritize referring offices and patient needs, and consistently communicates with professionalism, courtesy, and respect. Reliability and flexibility are essential, along with a willingness to support other team members as needed.
Requirements
- 1+ years of hands-on dental office experience
- 1+ years of prior dental insurance experience required
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong understanding of dental insurance, including verification and breakdown of benefits
- Working knowledge of dentistry, specifically endodontics
- Comfortable with basic math and financial calculations related to treatment planning
- Computer literate with moderate to fast typing speed
- Ability to create, interpret, and communicate treatment plans accurately
- Experience handling a multi-line phone system in a fast-paced environment
