About The Position

Crossgates Dental is now hiring a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) in Slidell, LA! This position offers a $2000 Sign On Bonus and $1000 Annual Continuing Education (CE). The Hygienist Schedule is Monday - Thursday from 7:40 am to 5:00 pm with a 1-hour lunch break. The practice offers a flexible full or part-time schedule. Requirements

Active Louisiana Hygienist license
Current BLS/CPR certifications
Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training
Minimum 1 or more years of RDH clinical experience

Responsibilities

Screening patients during check-ups
Reviewing patient's history
Administers prophylactic treatment by scaling and polishing
Documents area of existing restorations
Use of X-ray
Instructing patients in oral hygiene technique and working with patients and their oral hygiene
Conduct screenings
Assist patients with oral hygiene
