Dental Hygienist - with Benefits
About The Position
Salud is seeking an enthusiastic Dental Hygienist to join their family. In this role, you will work in a team-based care fashion, supporting patients and their families in self-management, self-efficacy, and behavior change partnerships to provide the highest standard of dental care. You will perform most clinical procedures related to professional dental hygiene care. Salud is committed to providing a Medical Home where medical, dental, and behavioral health services are coordinated in a team-based system of care, serving all individuals regardless of insurance status or ability to pay.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited School of Dental Hygiene
- Possession of a valid current license as a registered dental hygienist in the State of Colorado
- Maintain current CPR Certification
- Sensitivity to low-income and ethnic minority communities is a must
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience desired, but not required
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform most clinical procedures related to professional dental hygiene care.
- Work in a team-based care fashion supporting patients and their families in self-management, self-efficacy, and behavior change partnerships.
- Provide preventive dental services in a medical setting for up to half of the day.
- Provide oral assessments and preventive care in local schools.
