About The Position

Salud is seeking an enthusiastic Dental Hygienist to join their family. Hygienists work in a team-based care model, supporting patients and families in self-management, self-efficacy, and behavior change partnerships to deliver high-quality dental care. The role involves performing most clinical procedures related to professional dental hygiene care. This position offers a unique opportunity to integrate medical and dental care, allowing hygienists to perform preventive dental services in a medical setting for up to half of their day. Additionally, there are opportunities to provide oral assessments and preventive care in local schools. The role utilizes state-of-the-art technology and offers continuous learning opportunities.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited School of Dental Hygiene
  • Possession of a valid current license as a registered dental hygienist in the State of Colorado
  • Maintain current CPR Certification

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Dental Hygienist experience desired, but not required
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform most clinical procedures related to professional dental hygiene care.
  • Work in a team-based care fashion supporting patients and their families in self-management, self-efficacy, and behavior change partnerships.
  • Provide preventive dental services in a medical setting for up to half of the day.
  • Provide oral assessments and preventive care in local schools.
  • Utilize state-of-the-art technology including digital X-rays, diode lasers, Cavitrons, intra-oral scanners, CBCT machines, integrated electronic medical dental records, and voice-activated perio charting.
