About The Position

Salud is seeking an enthusiastic Dental Hygienist to join their team. In this role, you will work in a team-based care model, supporting patients and their families in self-management and behavior change to provide the highest standard of dental care. You will perform clinical procedures related to professional dental hygiene care. Salud is committed to providing a Medical Home where medical, dental, and behavioral health services are coordinated. They serve all individuals regardless of insurance status or ability to pay.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited School of Dental Hygiene
Possession of a valid current license as a registered dental hygienist in the State of Colorado
Maintain current CPR Certification
Sensitivity to low-income and ethnic minority communities is a must

Nice To Haves

Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Previous experience desired, but not required

Responsibilities

Perform most clinical procedures related to professional dental hygiene care.
Work in a team-based care fashion that supports patients and their families in self-management, self-efficacy, and behavior change partnerships.
Provide preventive dental services in a medical setting for up to half of your day.
Provide oral assessments and preventive care in local schools.
