About The Position
Augusto Fojas, DDS is seeking an enthusiastic and patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join their growing dental team. This is a full-time opportunity working just 4 days per week, offering more time for work-life balance. Part-time scheduling options are also available for the right candidate. The practice emphasizes quality patient care over production pressure, utilizes modern technology, and provides a supportive, collaborative team environment.
Requirements
- Active Dental Hygienist license in Ohio
- Current CPR certification
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Compassionate, professional, and team-oriented approach
Nice To Haves
- Experience preferred but motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including prophylaxis, scaling, and root planning
- Conduct comprehensive periodontal assessments
- Take and review digital radiographs
- Educate patients on oral health, preventive care, and treatment plans
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly
- Partner with dentists and team members to provide outstanding patient experiences
- Maintain compliance with infection control and safety standards
