About The Position

Rochelle E. Hackley DDS Dental Spa is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to provide preventive and periodontal care in a busy, eight-operatory dental practice. The office uses an iTero scanner, SprintRay technology, and an in-office lab, and provides Invisalign care. The role is full-time, with a concentrated three-day schedule: Tuesday 8:00 AM–8:00 PM, Wednesday 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, and Thursday 8:00 AM–8:00 PM. Mondays, Fridays, and weekends are off. Compensation is $65–$75 per hour, depending on experience, and the position includes the ADC benefits package.

Requirements

• Active Maryland Registered Dental Hygienist license.
• Strong clinical skills in preventive care, periodontal assessment, and periodontal treatment.
• Clear, compassionate communication skills to help patients understand and follow through with recommended care.
• Organization, attention to detail, and confidence working in a high-volume office.
• Team-oriented approach and commitment to quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver preventive and periodontal care, including cleanings, scaling and root planing, and periodontal maintenance within the scope of practice.
• Complete periodontal assessments, charting, prescribed radiographs, and appropriate fluoride and sealant treatments.
• Educate patients about oral health and periodontal care, and reinforce the dentist’s treatment recommendations.
• Review medical histories and maintain accurate, complete clinical documentation.
• Coordinate treatment with the dentist and front office, encourage continuing care, and help keep the hygiene schedule running efficiently.
• Review appointments for appropriate procedures, appointment lengths, and provider assignments.
• Maintain infection-control standards and a clean, prepared operatory.
