About The Position

Rochelle E. Hackley DDS Dental Spa is seeking a skilled Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to provide preventive and periodontal care in a busy, collaborative dental practice. The office has eight operatories, an iTero scanner, SprintRay technology, and an in-office lab, and offers opportunities to support comprehensive care as an Invisalign provider. This is a full-time position with the ADC benefits package, paying $65–$75 per hour depending on experience. The schedule is Tuesday 8:00 AM–8:00 PM, Wednesday 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, and Thursday 8:00 AM–8:00 PM, with Mondays, Fridays, and weekends off.

Requirements

Active Maryland Registered Dental Hygienist license.
Strong clinical skills in preventive care, periodontal assessment, and periodontal treatment.
Clear, compassionate communication that helps patients understand and follow through with recommended care.
Organization and attention to detail, with confidence working in a high-volume office.
Team-oriented approach and commitment to quality patient care.

Responsibilities

Deliver preventive and periodontal care, including cleanings, scaling and root planing, and periodontal maintenance within the scope of practice.
Complete periodontal assessments, charting, prescribed radiographs, and appropriate fluoride and sealant treatments.
Educate patients about oral health and periodontal care, and reinforce the dentist’s treatment recommendations.
Review medical histories and maintain accurate, complete clinical documentation.
Coordinate treatment with the dentist and front office, encourage continuing care, and help keep the hygiene schedule running efficiently.
Review appointments for appropriate procedures, appointment lengths, and provider assignments.
Maintain infection-control standards and a clean, prepared operatory.
