Requirements

• Active Massachusetts Registered Dental Hygienist license.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification.

• Any additional certification or license required by the state to perform specified duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide concierge-level care and build trust with patients through exceptional chairside manner.
• Identify signs of periodontal disease or potential oral cancers to support patients’ overall oral health.
• Document and review detailed patient medical histories and chief complaints.
• Take X-rays and intraoral images to assist with treatment planning and document progress or changes.
• Perform oral hygiene procedures in accordance with treatment plans prescribed by the attending dentist.
• Respond proficiently with emergency measures to sudden adverse developments during patient treatment.
• Provide instructions for at-home care and oral health maintenance.
