About The Position

As a Dental Hygienist, you will provide preventive dental hygiene care and help patients improve their oral and overall health. The role offers the opportunity to practice at the top of your scope, build meaningful patient relationships, and work collaboratively with dentists and fellow hygienists. New graduates are welcome, and clinical support, company-paid continuing education, training, and professional development opportunities are available. The schedule is Monday and Wednesday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Compensation is $40–$45 per hour. Benefits vary according to employment status and hours worked. Smile Brands supports more than 650 affiliated dental practices across 28 states, with a mission of delivering Smiles For Everyone. The position is associated with an affiliated dental office identified on the company career site.

Requirements

Licensed Dental Hygienist or eligible to become licensed in the state of practice.
Current CPR certification.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for patient care, education, and prevention.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality preventive dental hygiene care using evidence-based protocols.
Perform appropriate assessments, diagnostics, and preventive treatments within the scope of practice.
Educate patients about oral hygiene, prevention, and the connection between oral and overall health.
Build trusting relationships with patients and create a welcoming, judgment-free experience.
Collaborate with dentists and hygiene teammates to identify patient needs and personalize treatment.
Stay current with dental technologies, instruments, and best practices that enhance patient care.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow applicable safety and compliance standards.
