Dental Hygienist Sleepy Hollow
About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join the practice. The hygienist supports patients’ oral health by providing thorough cleanings, assessments, and education on preventive oral care. The role includes conducting oral examinations, cleaning teeth, taking dental X-rays, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices, while working closely with the dental team to provide a high standard of care in a comfortable, welcoming environment. The position includes assistant support and one hour per patient. The practice describes its atmosphere as laid-back, efficient, and “no drama,” and does not expect or pressure clinical team members to sell. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Pay is $65 to $70; benefits are available after nine months.
Requirements
- Current New York dental hygienist license.
- X-ray license.
- Nitrous oxide license.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients.
- Proficiency in dental hygiene procedures and technology.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and oral health education.
