About The Position
Bourbon Family Dentistry is seeking a temporary full-time Dental Hygienist to join their team in Paris, KY. This position is to cover a maternity leave for 8-12 weeks, starting Mid-December, with the potential to become a full-time permanent role. The practice is described as small and family-oriented, valuing teamwork and patient care.
Requirements
- Associate degree or the successful completion of a recognized vocational program in dental hygiene.
- State license required.
- X-Ray & CPR Certification.
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of previous dental hygienist experience.
Responsibilities
- Promote dental health and collaborate with the dentist to manage patient oral health.
- Perform dental prophylaxis, oral cancer screenings, obtain radiographs, and chart findings.
- Educate patients on oral health practices and proper techniques.
- Maintain and select instruments for dental hygiene treatment.
- Complete dental prophylaxis, detect disease, and apply cavity-preventing agents and dental sealants.
