Dental Hygienist - PRN

About The Position
CoreCivic is seeking a PRN Dental Hygienist to provide dental care in an institutional setting. The role involves performing preventive dental procedures and treatments, providing dental health education, and spending at least 75% of work time in direct contact with inmates/residents. Compensation is $46.45 per hour.
Requirements
- Must be licensed and/or certified as a dental hygienist in the state of employment.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Nice To Haves
- A valid driver's license is preferred, unless required by contract or applicable statute.
Responsibilities
- Perform scaling, cleaning, and polishing of teeth.
- Treat gums and the tissue surrounding teeth.
- Develop and conduct a dental health education program and instruct inmates/residents in preventive dental techniques.
- Take and develop dental X-rays as directed.
- Take impressions for study casts.
- Spend a minimum of 75% of work time performing duties involving direct contact with inmates/residents.
