About The Position

CoreCivic is seeking PRN Dental Hygienists to provide high-quality care in an institutional setting. The role performs dental hygiene services and spends at least 75% of working time in direct contact with inmates or residents.

Requirements

• Must be licensed and/or certified as a dental hygienist in the state of employment.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

• A valid driver's license is preferred, unless required by contract or applicable statute.

Responsibilities

• Scale, clean, and polish teeth.
• Provide treatment to gums and the tissue surrounding teeth.
• Develop and conduct a dental health education program and instruct inmates or residents in preventive dental techniques.
• Take and develop dental X-rays as directed.
• Take impressions for study casts.
• Spend at least 75% of time performing duties involving direct contact with inmates or residents.
