About The Position

Highland Dental is hiring a part-time Registered Dental Hygienist at its Richmond, Kentucky location. The hygienist will provide quality oral care in a friendly, personable, and team-oriented environment. The schedule is two days per week, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM, with a one-hour lunch break. The pay range is $36.00–$40.00 per hour, depending on experience.

The role includes dental cleanings, oral health assessments, X-rays, patient education, sealant and fluoride applications, accurate recordkeeping, collaboration with the dental team, and sterilization duties. Highland Dental offers hands-on training and opportunities for career advancement. Medical and vision insurance are offered to full-time employees after 60 days; a 401(k) is available after one year for employees with full-time status.

Requirements

• Associate degree or successful completion of a recognized vocational program in dental hygiene.
• State license required.
• Knowledge of general principles of dentistry and advanced knowledge of dental hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental cleanings and oral health assessments.
