Dental Hygienist - $2500 Sign-on Bonus

Newton Centre Dental is seeking a full-time Dental Hygienist who values quality care, meaningful patient relationships, and professional respect. Requirements
- Associate degree or higher from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Active Massachusetts Dental Hygienist license
- Current CPR certification
- Local anesthesia certification required or willingness to obtain
- 1+ year of dental hygiene experience preferred, although motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong clinical judgment and patient education skills
- Warm, professional communication style
- Commitment to comprehensive, patient-centered care and long-term patient relationships
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive preventive and therapeutic hygiene care, including cleanings, scaling and root planing, and fluoride treatments
- Conduct periodontal assessments and maintain accurate periodontal charting
- Capture and interpret diagnostic-quality digital radiographs
- Educate patients on oral health, periodontal health, and individualized preventive care
- Conduct head, neck, and oral cancer screenings
- Identify periodontal and restorative concerns and communicate findings with the dentist
- Build lasting relationships with patients through education, trust, and consistency
- Collaborate with doctors and clinical team members to provide comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate digital patient records and uphold OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards
