About The Position

The Dental Front Desk Coordinator serves as the first and last point of contact for patients and plays a critical role in creating a welcoming, organized, and professional front-office experience. This position focuses on patient communication, scheduling, and administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations and support overall practice success.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out
  • Answer incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and maintain a friendly, professional tone
  • Communicate appointment details, office policies, and general visit flow
  • Support a positive and calm environment for patients throughout their visit
  • Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and follow up on patient appointments
  • Maintain an organized and optimized schedule to support provider productivity
  • Coordinate recall, follow-ups, and unscheduled treatment appointments
  • Assist with daily office flow and communication between front and clinical teams
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the practice management system
  • Ensure patient forms and information are completed and up to date
  • Support general administrative tasks including data entry, filing, scanning, and correspondence
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and reception area
