Dental Specialty Center of Haines City is currently looking for a Dental Billing Specialist for our office located in Davenport, FL. This is a full-time position. Our ideal candidate will have full knowledge of sending/posting dental insurance claims (general/specialty) and experience with insurance company follow-up. Requirements
- 1 - 2 years' of experience working with dental or medical insurance billing
- Full knowledge of sending/posting dental insurance claims (general/specialty)
- Excellent phone skills
- Superior customer service skills
Nice To Haves
- Strong knowledge of dental insurance, preferred
Responsibilities
- Reviewing unpaid insurance claims report
- Identifying outstanding insurance
- Updating insurance/collection reminder calendar
- Reviewing insurance explanation of benefits for payment accuracy
- Insurance plan set up in QSI
- Update fee schedules
- Billing – file all insurance – primary/secondary with insurance companies
- Confirm pre-authorizations for treatment
- Be a back-up to the front desk
