Dental Specialty Center of Haines city is currently looking for a Dental Billing Specialist for our office located in Davenport,Fl. This is a full-time position. Our ideal candidate will have full knowledge of sending/posting dental insurance claims (general/specialty) and experience with insurance company follow up. Requirements

• 1 - 2 years' of experience working with dental or medical insurance billing
• Full knowledge of sending/posting dental insurance claims (general/specialty)
• Excellent phone skills
• Superior customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Reviewing unpaid insurance claims report
• Identifying outstanding insurance
• Updating insurance/collection reminder calendar
• Reviewing insurance explanation of benefits for payment accuracy
• Insurance plan set up in QSI
• Update fee schedules
• Billing – file all insurance – primary/secondary with insurance companies
• Confirm pre-authorizations for treatment
• Be a back-up to the front desk
