About The Position
We are seeking a Certified/Registered Dental Assistant to join the team and assist in providing quality oral healthcare to patients. The role includes preparing and maintaining dental equipment, assisting during procedures, and keeping the work environment clean and sterile. The Dental Assistant also supports patient education, documentation, scheduling, and billing.
Requirements
- Certification or registration as a Dental Assistant.
- Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Nice To Haves
- X-ray certification is preferred.
- Prior experience in a dental office is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures.
- Assist dentists during examinations and treatments.
- Take and develop dental X-rays.
- Maintain patient records and documentation.
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and billing.
