About The Position

Ohio Kids Dental in Cuyahoga Falls, part of Kids Dental Brands, is seeking a compassionate, patient-focused Dental Assistant to support pediatric dental care. The role works closely with children and families to support clinical procedures and create a welcoming experience where patients feel safe, confident, and comfortable. The position includes chairside assistance, taking and processing dental radiographs, preparing and sterilizing instruments, assisting with dental procedures, educating patients and parents on oral hygiene, maintaining patient information, and providing post-treatment instructions. Requirements

• Current CPR Certification.
• Ohio Radiology Certification.
• Active coronal polishing certificate.

Responsibilities

• Work chairside with dentists to support high-quality patient care.
• Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays).
• Prepare, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
• Assist with procedures including impressions, extractions, and fillings.
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene, including brushing, flossing, and nutrition.
• Review medical histories, take blood pressure and pulse, and update records.
• Help children feel comfortable and confident before, during, and after treatment.
• Provide post-treatment care instructions to patients and families.
