About The Position

United Dental Corporation is seeking a dependable, patient-focused Dental Assistant to join its growing team in the Upper East Side area of Manhattan. The role is in a collaborative, multispecialty practice serving PPO and fee-for-service patients. The Dental Assistant supports dentists during treatment, helps maintain efficient patient flow, and contributes to an exceptional patient experience from check-in through check-out. The position is full-time, with compensation of $20–$25 per hour. Benefits eligibility and waiting periods may apply.

Requirements

• Active Dental Assistant Certification or Registration.
• Current CPR/BLS Certification.
• Dental radiology certification, if required by state.
• Knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Nice To Haves

• EFDA Certification, where applicable.
• Coronal Polishing Certification.
• Sealant Certification.
• Experience with digital radiography.
• Experience with dental software and electronic health records.
• Experience in PPO, Fee-for-Service, and/or Medicaid environments.
• Bilingual skills, if applicable to market.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments.
• Sterilize and maintain clinical equipment.
• Take dental radiographs in accordance with state regulations.
• Support patient flow and provider efficiency.
• Educate patients on post-operative and oral hygiene instructions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
• Provide an outstanding patient experience from check-in to check-out.
