About The Position
Howard is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Assistant to provide patient care in a supportive, team-oriented dental practice. The practice emphasizes respectful relationships with patients and team members, opportunities to develop skills, modern technology and techniques, and work-life balance. The position is full-time, with 36 weekly hours, at the Beaufort, South Carolina location. Salary is up to $22 per hour based on experience. Benefits are available after 60 days of employment. Employment is contingent on successfully passing a background check, including a drug screen.
Requirements
- CPR/X-ray certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and equipment.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Successfully pass a background check, including a drug screen, as a condition of employment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the treatment room for patients.
- Sterilize and deliver instruments to the treatment area, position instruments for the dentist’s access, suction, and pass instruments.
- Complete clinical notes before dismissing patients.
