About The Position
Great Expressions Dental Centers is seeking an energetic and motivated Dental Assistant to join its dental practice and support patients’ oral health. The role involves assisting the dental team with patient care and procedures, maintaining clean and organized treatment rooms, educating patients, and supporting scheduling and recordkeeping in a fast-paced environment. In Michigan, the employee must provide evidence of X-ray training certification upon hiring. If not certified at that time, the employee has eight weeks to submit the certification. Requirements
- 1–3 years of previous dental assisting experience.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- For Michigan hires, provide evidence of X-ray training certification upon hiring or submit it within eight weeks.

Responsibilities
- Assist the dental team in providing patient care.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care.
- Support dentists during procedures by anticipating their needs and helping ensure a smooth workflow.
- Perform basic dental procedures under the guidance of a licensed dentist.
- Schedule appointments and maintain accurate patient records.
